Marianne Welhaven Løchen

I am an experienced acupuncturist specializing in working with pregnant women and alleviating pregnancy-related discomforts. I have gained a thorough understanding of the physical and emotional strain that pregnant women can experience, and I have developed specific treatment methods to relieve common discomforts such as nausea, back pain, heartburn, sleep problems, and swelling, to name a few.

From gestational weeks 35-36 of the pregnancy, maturation acupuncture is recommended. This treatment prepares the body for birth.

My approach to acupuncture is based on a holistic understanding of the body and its energy system. I use carefully selected acupuncture points and techniques to balance energy flow and promote the body’s natural healing process.

I also take into account the individual situation and needs of each woman, tailoring the treatment accordingly. Through thorough consultations and collaboration with my patients, I ensure that they feel safe and well cared for throughout their pregnancy.
